This one does fit many, many guns, and the trick is the one thing that I overlooked trying to get the P-07 in - the tensioning screw. See, that big winter trigger guard, (which really isn't that big in person, oddly enough), was pushing towards the limit of the rig, until I loosed the tensioning screw a ways. Once I had that down, the gun began its job of forming the man made materials. The rigs' high back sweat shield is well
made and generous in coverage of the back of the slide and hammer area. The belt loops were generous enough to fit both my standard work belt and heavy off duty belt, and the rig stayed quite steady for such a soft leather like appearance. As before, the sidearm resisted going in initially when the holster was mounted, but a little work forming it, and no issues remained. I took some photos in my about-to-go-to work attire of work pants and off duty concealment shirt, in one of my favorite
flavors, Natural Geartm camouflage, a good pattern for Arizona deserts.. As you can see, it fit well and rode naturally. When I flopped the loose shirt over it, it disappeared. But, this was when I discovered the nature of the belt mounted cheese grater known as the Duty's grip. This sidearm is made for seriously rugged work, and intended to not have it's user lose his/her grip in the worst conditions, which meant comfort for concealed
carry had to be somewhat secondary. |
